What To Bring

Food & Beverage:

Please eat breakfast each day before before you arrive by 9 AM.

Pack the following food/drink with you.

  • Morning and Afternoon Snacks (e.g., Granola Bar or Fruit)
  • Sack or boxed Lunch
  • Bottled Water - Multiple (no juice allowed in the camp room to protect the carpet)

 

GirlSing Will Provide: 

A homemade, low-sugar juice and ice water (from tap) throughout the camp. Some healthy snacks (as back up for those who "forget" a snack) will be provided (e.g., celery sticks with peanut butter, baby carrots, etc.). 

 

Bring the Signed Liability Waiver. On the first day of camp please print and bring a signed Liability Waiver Form (2021) Here.   Please make note of any food allergies (Dairy, nuts, etc.) or any health issues on the waiver form. 

Please Bring: 

  • Sunscreen or Bug Spray (if needed)
  • Jacket - Windbreaker or light coat. On cold days, bring a long sleeved light shirt or fleece that can be put on inside or outside (if needed)
  • Sun Hat - Especially for those prone to sunburn.
  • Allergy Medicine or Emergency Epi-Pen if at risk of allergic reactions.
  • Back pack or fanny pack (for field trips and/or outings capable of carrying your lunch.
  • Dress appropriately for the weather and/or outdoor activity (e.g.,, walking shoes, wind breaker/rain jacket, umbrella, second layer, etc. as necessary).
  • Walking/Hiking Shoes - Please wear or bring some close-toed shoes for walking or hiking. Good walking sandals will work, but keep in mind that on day 2, we will be walking on the Sourdough Trail which is gravel. Flips flops are NOT recommended for days 2, 3 and 4 as we will be walking or hiking those days. Supportive sandals (tevas, Chacol, etc.) with some heighth and socks could work on gravel.
  • Socks and/or clean shoes (for wearing inside on the new carpet). Dirty shoes will be kept outside to protect the carpet. The socks they wear with their shoes can be used inside. No bear feet on the carpet.
  • Beach Towel: For using outside for picnic lunches on the grass. This may also be used indoors for journaling activities when the girls are laying on the floor.
